I'm just not impressed with the gold crucifix
On which you've carved "six sixty-six"
Or how you've read every book that has ever been banned
And memorized all of the lines on my hand
Your daddy's a loser, and your mama's a creep
You'd sell my soul while I was asleep
It's well before dawn when the morning dew comes
There's no need to march just because you hear drums
And this is the way out of here.
You might as well just embrace the fact
You're little more than a nostalgia act
Your clothes are so scary, but, after all
Everyone knows that they came from the mall
Your poetry's lousy, and so is your hair
Your mouth's like a pistol, but nobody cares
There's nowhere to sail on a broken down ship
We're sailing around on a Moebius strip
And this is the way out of here
The snow beat the leaves to the ground this year
The rain's falling hard but the skies are clear
And this is the way out of here
