Storm Shadow

Well I thought I'd take her out for a lovely night on the town
I picked her up at midnight she was dressed in a black leather gown
thought I'd compliment her as a good way to start the date
I said "you look like a corpse who just crawled out of the grave."
and she never said a word, she just stared off into space
with unblinking eyes behind her pasty white face

I thought she was a goth, but it turned out she was dead
I thought she was a goth, but it turned out she was dead
I thought that she was just a goth, but she'd been dead all along

The first date went well, and so did the second and third
I thought she really liked me, even if she never said a word
she only had one dress, but goth gear ain't exactly cheap
but she soon began to stink and my flesh began to creep
as I wondered why her makeup always looked the same
and why, during sex, she would never even say my name !

chorus

ending of live version: And dead people got no reason to live
I said dead people got no reason to live
yes dead people got no
reason
to
live
